Maintaining a Spirit of Love and Faithfulness in the Work of the Lord

What kind of church do we want to be, and what type of ministry do we want to develop? These two questions are always in my thoughts and prayers, and they constantly motivate me to seek the necessary guidance from Christ to move forward in everything we do at WRBC.

As for our church, I am convinced that we need to continue to be the welcoming, loving, and immovable people in the work of the Lord that we are. The main reason for the existence of the local church is the praise and glory of God, and its primary mission is the propagation of the gospel message. That is precisely what we have been doing for 43 years, and I can say that this has been the priority of our ministry in these last three years and five months. Aware of these fundamental foundations, our prayers and hard work are always to improve our services, always maintain our simple and solid way of worshiping the Lord, and advance boldly in preaching the Word both for the edification of the Body and for the salvation of the lost in our area and surrounding areas and from here, to the ends of the earth through our massive support for missionary work. To do this, we do not need to change form or content, but rather to deepen and increasingly seek excellence in what we already do. The focus is always on Christ, and the guide is always the Word of God and never pragmatic formulas that only distance us from dependence on the Spirit of God and lead us to trust in our strategies and merits.

As for the ministry, I have been thinking more and more about how we can serve more and better those in the family of faith who are in need, such as our elderly, widows, and needy brothers, as well as all those who need spiritual and emotional support in their arduous but glorious Christian journey. For that, we need to ask God to continue raising humble men within our church with servant hearts and a desire to walk as disciples of Christ to carry out this work. The harvest is plentiful, so we ask God for more workers for the harvest. He is directly interested in His harvest. He will provide!
